사유의 공간/ 思惟의 空間                          

  사유(思惟)의 공간(空間)이라는 주제로 이루어진 본인의 작업은 수직, 수평, 사선 구조로 이루어진 공간과 원근법(遠近法)으로 이루어진 긴 통로, 투명한 창을 통해 보이는 우리가 경험하는 자연의 바깥풍경을 보여준다. 사계절의 옷을 갈아입는 자연의 신비야말로 인간이 경험할 수 있는 최고의 걸작임을 느낄 수 있게 된다.

자연의 위대함 앞에서,
현대인에게 들이닥친 팬데믹의 일상속에서 죽음과, 슬픔, 좌절등 삶을 이루는 여러 조각들로 인해 잃어버리고 잊혀진 감정들…
공간구조속에 자연이 함께 펼쳐질 화폭은 미래를 준비하는 삶의 에너지다. 특히 내게 있어 “사유의 공간”은 현실에서 정화된 미의식이 필요할 때, 그리고 고향산천을 다니면서 예술에 있어 정신적인것과 마음속 정화( 정제된 긴장 )가 필요할 때 가는 곳으로 나의 개인적인 경험에서 비롯된 나만의 습관은 한계령에서 부산으로 이어지는 태백산맥 줄기의 산과 계곡, 바다의 광활함이 내 마음의 수양처이다.
앞으로 다가올 미래를 준비하는…

“Space of thought” 

  The title- “Space of thought” is the main theme of my work shows the outside scenery of nature that we experience via a space consisting of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal structure, a long passage based on perspective, and a transparent window. 
As though it changes its clothes through four seasons, the mystique of nature is the best masterpiece that humans could experience.
In front of greatness of nature,
In the daily life of the pandemic that strikes contemporary people, the lost and forgotten emotion caused by various pieces of life such as death, sorrow, and frustration…
The canvas where nature unfolds together in the spatial structure is the energy of the life to prepare for the future. Especially, for me, “Space of thought” is a place where I go when I need a purified aesthetic sense in real life, artistic spirit, and a purification of mind (refined tension). It is my own habit stemmed from my personal experience like traveling to the mountains and streams of hometown, and the vastness of the mountains, valleys, and sea of ‘Taebaek Mountain range’ from ‘Hangyeryeong’ to ‘Busan’ is a sanctuary of my mind.
