Thinking of You
December 22, 2010 - January 31, 2011
Opening Reception: Wednesday, December 22, 5pm
Time flows, a new season enters us without notice, and we feel lonely. Gallery YEH has mounted Thinking of You in honor of late Lee Sook-young, former president of Gallery YEH who left us last August, and to share the end of the year with all who have loved the gallery. The exhibition is a forum where we share the hearts commemorating the deceased president who spent her whole life with art and culture. This is also a meaningful occasion when viewers may appreciate works by world-renowned artists such as Arman Pierre Fernandez, Yoshitaka Amano, Nicholas Bodde, Robert Indiana, Alex Katz, Bill Thomson, and Michael Wesely, and Korea’s leading artists including Kwak Hoon, Ku Sung-yeon, Kim Woong, Kim Won-sook, Kim Chong-hak, Park Kwang-sung, Zu Doyang, Choi In-sun, and Huh Wook, all deeply connected to late president Lee.
Seasonal changes are similar to those of life, in many respects. As we expect winter after passing through spring, summer, and fall, we also look forward to new days. Spending the last month of the year and waiting for the new year, we feel expectation of something missing. We sincerely wish you and your family health and peace. We are also deeply grateful to many for their unsparing support and encouragement. We hope you can join us to create this occasion as a meaningful event commemorating the deceased.
